Skyline Mosaics

LEGO mosaic building has become rather popular these days. Such creations can be large or small and of just about any subject.

A common topic is that of a city skyline. I, myself, have completed three such images:

New York City (black and white... not a real view)
San Francisco (black and white)
Fort Worth (13 colors)

Furthermore, other folks have built the following skyline mosaics:

Boston (by New Englend LEGO Users Group)
Portland, Oregon (a group project from Brickfest-PDX, 2004)

Such mosaics are great projects. They allow citizens of those cities to see a recognizable view while enjoying the playfulness of LEGO bricks. The final mosaics are usually quite large so that significant detail may be obtained.
