Dot, Dot, Dash

Because I know I can't be the only person who wondered about this... here is a text file that shows which valid Scrabble words have the same Morse Code representations when letter delimitations are ignored. ("MILLIARE/ZENITHAL" [--...-...-.....-.-..] is one of my favorite equivalences).

We can all sleep more easily now.

Comments about this article:
This is very interesting. One of the favorite pairs I found while browsing was LOUD / RAZZ. Although the words are short, it's interesting because the two words have no letters in common. LOIN / RATTEEN / RATTER is also interesting because one of the words is 3 letters longer than another word in the set. Can you analyze the file to see if there are any sets that have one word 4 or more letters longer than another word? The set DABS/.../TEEPEES/TIPIS also has words with a length difference of 3, and has a total of 9 words in the set. Are there any sets which have 10 or more words?

There are two sets with 13 entries:

babe/bans/bates/bath/begs/deans/death/digs/dimes/duns/neeps/nips/tsadi

bah/base/bens/beth/brie/deli/dins/dites/dues/duh/testes/tiers/tsetse

I do not yet know about the greatest difference between entry lengths.
