A website with history and pictures of "A" and "B" batteries

(I have the bookmark from when I had the same question.)

I know batteries because I used to work at the photography counter in a high street chemist, and when custom was slow (or we felt like a break) we'd tidy up the battery aisle way over in the corner. (This was recently, mind - just before the most recent Christmas.) And I'm sure there were B batteries there! Hmm... but Google seems to disagree with me. Maybe I just can't read. I know there were C because they were memorably tricky to keep on the shelf. Wrong shape, you see.
