Ripple applet
The applet was made by Eric Harshbarger, the anime image was not.
This applet might be a little CPU-intensive. Click anywhere in the image. After a few moments, concentric ripples should form. This effect was originally developed for a project that was later discarded in favor of another effect, but I keep it around because it kinda looks cool.
